Started 2006 Grade Bay Gelding-He's a l@@ker!
Grade QH/ApHC gelding. Eclipse is a big teddy bear. The first foal I raised-so I spent LOTS & LOTS of time with him. He was halter broke and loading in the trailor by a week old. I lead him through the dog runs, over tarps, onto wooden platforms, up stairs, whatever I could think of to help him turn out great. Loads, ties, bathes, etc, stall kept, handled since birth daily, ridden w or w/o saddle about 20 times. UTD on de-wormings, hooves, etc. He's always been very well-cared for, fed quality feed and hay and on the chubby side. :~} He has had bit lessons and responds well to turns, stops quickly, is working on standing quietly and backs like a dream. 5/9/08-went to the nieghbors for the first time, through loads of mud puddles, flapping laundry and new running horses-no problem. He is NOT a slow rideing baby. He's ready to go somewhere. I think he'd make a great cow-horse. He's got the right attitude. If you're looking for something to finish breaking this summer and don't want to deal with someone's wild-junk, he's the one. I have his dam and pictures of his sire. His sire has been raced un-officially and his dam was one fast girl.
